Hi! My name is Adela, I am 20 years old and I am a physiotherapy student in Groningen! My biggest passion is everything that has something to do with animals:) I grew up with cats, rabbits and a dog. I also owned a horse for a few years. So I am used to taking care of them and paying attention to everything they do!

In my free time I often volunteered in a dog shelter near Prague - dogpoint.cz. Therefore, I am used to working with different breeds and sizes. I also walked a few problematic dogs and watched how the caregivers work with them. I also spent a lot of time running or hiking with my dog - he is a border collie and therefore really really active:)! I also took care of dogs of my parents friends dogs when they were busy and recently also helped with taking care of 4 dogs during my visit in America. Here in Netherlands I helped an elderly woman living next door to walk her dog (yorkshire) because she was ill and not able to walk him anymore.

My dream is to either pursue a career in animal physiotherapy or even go to a vet school after I finish my physiotherapy studies. I did a internship at a vet clinic at Zlíchov in Prague for a few weeks and I really loved it! I would love to gain more experience in this area and meet more furry friends! As I mentioned before, I love animals - especially dogs, more than anything and I am really looking forward to working with them again!
