My name is Carmen, and I’m a Spanish woman from Madrid who has loved animals all my life. Since I was a child, I’ve felt a special connection with them. I dreamed of becoming a veterinarian or biologist because I’ve always admired how animals give us unconditional love and teach us so much about life. Although I ultimately became a nurse, my love for animals remains a core part of who I am.

I grew up surrounded by all kinds of animals: dogs, cats, fish, and even ducks. Having them at home taught me not only how to care for them but also how to understand them and enjoy their companionship. Currently, I have two cats living with my mother in Madrid. While I know they are in good hands, I miss them dearly. Here, I sometimes take care of my boyfriend's three German Shepherds (Bella, Bulli, and Tabu). I give them commands and communicate with them in Dutch. The dogs respect and obey me, and I feel a special connection with animals.

My love for animals goes beyond simply caring for them; I have chosen a lifestyle that respects them and the environment, which is why I do not consume meat. I strongly believe that animals deserve the best, and I am committed to providing them with love, attention, and everything they need to feel happy and safe while their owners are away.

I am a responsible, attentive, and caring person with experience in daily pet care and handling specific needs. Additionally, my nursing background has given me the ability to handle situations calmly and with great dedication—something that can be especially valuable if a pet requires special care.
